Facilities Scheduler Harmony Early Education South-East QLD & Northern NSW Region – Full Time At Harmony Early Education, our environments are more than just buildings, they are spaces where children explore, connect, and thrive. To support our growing network of centres, we are seeking an organised and proactive Facilities Scheduler to help coordinate maintenance and facilities operations. This role sits within our Projects team and works closely with the Head of Property to ensure our centres remain safe, well-maintained, and compliant. You will play a key role coordinating contractors, scheduling maintenance works and supporting facility improvement projects across our centres. About the Role As Facilities Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities across Harmony centres and supporting facilities projects. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate and schedule planned preventative maintenance programs across Harmony centres
• Manage and schedule day-to-day maintenance requests • Coordinate contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed on time and to standard • Assist with project coordination including refurbishments, new centre fit-outs and capital works • Support contract specification, tendering and contractor negotiations • Monitor and report on maintenance expenditure against budget • Review maintenance data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and external consultants • Ensure maintenance works meet WHS and compliance requirements • Escalate high-risk issues and incidents when required
About You You are a highly organised coordinator who enjoys solving problems and managing multiple moving parts. You thrive in environments where planning, communication and attention to detail are essential. You will ideally bring: - Experience scheduling or coordinating facilities maintenance services
• Experience working in a Facilities Management or Property environment • Strong contractor coordination and stakeholder management skills • Excellent organisational and time management skills • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability • Knowledge of WHS requirements and building compliance • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements - Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to Harmony centres when required
• Hold a current Working with Children Check and Paid Blue Card OR is willing to obtain both, prior to commencement. • Ability to obtain or hold a National Police check
