Your Role

As Centre Cook, you’ll play a key role in creating a nurturing, healthy environment through food. You will:

• Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal meals and snacks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked kitchen
• Order supplies and manage inventory
• Communicate with educators to meet dietary needs
• Support the centre’s mealtime routines and assist where needed
• Be open to learning more about nutrition for different age groups, especially infants
• Hours 6:15am to 2:15pm Monday to Friday (open to discuss alternative hours for the right candidate.

Why Albany Creek?

Due to open in 2026, Harmony Early Education is joining the Albany Creek community. The centre caters for up to 120 children aged birth to 5 years. Located at 23-33 Wruck Crescent, Albany Creek, Queensland, with operational hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm

About You

You are passionate about creating food with purpose and care. You have:

• A Food Safety Handling Certificate
• Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and allergy management
• A practical understanding of food budgeting and planning
• Cooking experience in early childhood settings (desirable but not essential)
• A commitment to supporting children’s growth, development, and wellbeing through food
